As previously known, Karan and Drisha Acharya, his longtime girlfriend, are getting married very soon. The former engagement ceremony for the pair kicked off this week’s wedding celebrations, which were then followed by a private haldi.
The Deol family had a lavish sangeet on Friday night to commemorate the nuptials of Karan and Drisha, and several Bollywood stars, including Ranveer Singh, were sighted there.
The young Bollywood actor, who is rumoured to be tight with Sunny Deol’s family, joined his sister Ritika Singh Bhavnani at Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya’s spectacular sangeet. Due to her hectic schedule, however, his wife Deepika Padukone chose to skip the occasion. Ranveer Singh is seen chatting about host Sunny in a video that is now trending on social media and giving the veteran actor a loving embrace. The Gadar actor, on the other hand, is seen smiling broadly and joyfully while enjoying Ranveer’s company and their chat. Later, the Gully Boy star could be seen mingling and taking photographs with other visitors.
According to sources, the young couple, who have been together since they were children, decided to hold a small wedding with only their family and close friends present. On June 17, Saturday, Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya—who is the great-granddaughter of renowned director Bimal Roy—will wed in a traditional Punjabi ceremony. On June 18, the couple is anticipated to have a reception at Taj Lands End in Mumbai.
The adaptable actor just finished filming Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, the forthcoming movie from director Karan Johar and his second to include famous actress Alia Bhatt. On June 20, the project’s initial teaser is anticipated to be released. Later, Ranveer Singh will begin filming for the forthcoming Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie Baiju Bawra.
