Dil Dhadakne Do is a remake of which Hollywood movie?

Dil Dhadakne Do, Zoya Akhtar’s magnum opus, is supposed to be a replica of the blockbuster Hollywood drama series Brothers and Sisters. The plot is quite similar to Brothers and Sisters, a popular American television sitcom. While the core of the story has remained unchanged, numerous stories have been altered to appeal to Indian viewers.

Dil Dhadakne Do is a comedy-drama film directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment label in 2015. Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, and Farhan Akhtar star in the movie, which also boasts a voice-over performance by Aamir Khan as the family dog Pluto, the film’s narrator.

Rahul Bose, Zarina Wahab, Vikrant Massey, Pawan Chopra, Parmeet Sethi, Dolly Matteo, and Manoj Pahwa are among the supporting cast members. The movie follows the Mehras, a dysfunctional family who invites their family and friends on a cruise to celebrate their parents’ 30th wedding anniversary and then reconciles.

The Walker family and their life in Los Angeles and Pasadena, California are the focus of the American family drama television series Brothers & Sisters. From September 24, 2006, until May 8, 2011, it aired on ABC for five seasons. It aired on Sunday nights after Desperate Housewives for the duration of its run.

Sally Field plays Nora Walker, with Rachel Griffiths as Sarah, Calista Flockhart as Kitty, Balthazar Getty as Tommy, Matthew Rhys as Kevin, and Dave Annable as Justin Walker, her older children, in Brothers & Sisters. Holly Harper was played by Patricia Wettig, with Rebecca Harper played by Emily VanCamp and Saul Holden played by Ron Rifkin.
