Is Dhoom 2 a good movie?

Dhoom 2 is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Sanjay Gadhvi and produced by Aditya Chopra and Yash Chopra under the name Yash Raj Films for an estimated budget of 350 million dollars.
Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Uday Chopra, and Bipasha Basu play the leading characters in the film. Dhoom 2 was shot in India, Durban, and Rio de Janeiro, making it the first major Hindi film to be made in the country.

It is the second film in the Dhoom franchise. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra return as Jai Dixit and Ali Khan, respectively, as buddy cops. Yash Raj Films, the film’s distributor, promoted the picture by forming partnerships with Pepe Jeans and Coca-Cola.

It premiered in India on November 24, 2006, and enjoyed the largest theatrical release in Indian cinema history, with over 1800 prints. It was dubbed in both Tamil and Telugu at the same time. In Tamil, singer Vijay Prakash subbed for ACP Jai Dixit.

 Dhoom 2

Dhoom 2 earned positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. At the time of its release, it was the highest-grossing Indian film of 2006, as well as the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time. In global markets, it is the ninth highest-grossing Bollywood film. Dhoom 2 was upgraded to a ‘blockbuster’ status on Box Office India after making over 1.5 billion rupees.

However, the Mumbai municipal police commissioner has requested that the fast-paced rash driving scenes be censored, citing concerns that it could motivate Indian teenagers to ride their motorcycles recklessly, increasing the frequency of road accidents.

On December 20, 2013, a sequel, Dhoom 3, was released, becoming the twelfth-highest-grossing Bollywood film to date, as well as the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time at the time of its release.
