Toonpur Ka Superrhero is a live-action-animated action comedy film directed by Kireet Khurana and written by Raagii Bhatnagar. Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Sanjay Mishra, Tanuja, and Mukesh Tiwari star in the key roles. The film was India’s first feature film combining live-action and 3D animation. Anu Malik composed the film’s music, which was released on December 10, 2010, with Mumzy’s lyrics.
The tale revolves around Aditya Kumar (Ajay Devgn), a well-known actor who portrays a well-known superhero on television and also appears in films. He and his family, which includes his wife, Priya (Kajol), and two children, Kabir and Raima, reside in a pleasant village of sorts.
He tries to persuade his son that all cartoons are false and that he should not waste his time watching them on a regular basis. Kabir becomes upset and informs him one night that he, too, is a “fake” hero because his stunts are done by doubles.
He runs away from home, embarrassed, and is soon kidnapped by the cartoons his son watches. They grab him after overhearing two individuals discussing Aditya as a legendary hero. The total budget of the movie was 25 Crore and it collected 25.10 Crore in total. The picture was unable to attract audiences due to a number of problems. As a result, the film bombed at the box office, grossing a pitiful sum in 2010.
