Which are the Top 5 Bollywood cop action movies?

Countless movies have shown cops with unrestricted power who have taken the law into their own hands to track down and kill the alleged criminal. Their unbridled zeal and aggression may appear enticing, but it is more harmful than entertaining. Here are five Bollywood films that portray police brutality as an aspect of action, among many others:

1.      Ab Tak Chhappan (2004):

The number of encounter killings by police officers is treated as “scores” in this Bollywood blockbuster, and some of them compete for a higher number. Sadhu Agashe (Nana Patekar) has a “reputable” track record when it comes to such assassinations.

2.      Dabangg Trilogy (2010-2019):

Giving an over-the-top and violent cop a sweet name like Chulbul Pandey doesn’t help the film’s picture of police violence. The brutality is not only present, but it is also obvious.

3.      Mardaani (2014):

This Rani Mukherjee starrer takes away qualities of humanity in an attempt to put a woman in the spotlight in a “man’s profession.” Shivani Shivaji Roy, her persona, engages in egregious legal and criminal proceedings.

4.      Rowdy Rathore (2014):

Rowdy Rathore is Akshay Kumar’s second cop film, and he takes the lawless cop narrative even farther. Shiv Bharadwaj, played by Akshay Kumar, is proudly referred to as ‘Rowdy’, as the title suggests.

5.      Singham (2011):

Singham action movies

Singham depicts Ajay Devgn’s character, Bajirao Singham, as a cop who routinely avoids charge sheets and documentation in order to take problems into his own hands, leading locals to believe he actually cares about justice.
