Father Christmas Is Back: This Christmas comedy should’ve been a home run with such a large cast, but it doesn’t appear to have struck a chord with critics or IMDb. When their long-lost father turns up for Christmas at their wealthy ancestral manor, four warring sisters get a crash course in family unity.
Love Hard: This is one of the numerous romantic comedies Netflix has planned for 2021, and it has dominated the movie’s top ten since its release. An LA writer discovers she’s been catfished after meeting her perfect match on a dating app and flying 3,000 miles to surprise him for Christmas.
The Claus Family: In this Dutch film, a small child discovers that his grandfather is Santa Clause and is in danger. Unfortunately, Jules isn’t a big admirer of Christmas, so convincing him to help rescue it won’t be easy.
An Elf’s Story: The Elf on The Shelf: The first animated feature was released on the first of the month as part of Netflix’s new arrangement with Elf on the Shelf. A young scout elf who assists Santa in determining who is wicked or nice is given the task of restoring a 9-year-old boy’s faith in Christmas.
