It was released on August 23, in the United Kingdom by Pathé and 20th Century Fox, and on October 4, in the United States by Sony Pictures Classics.
By September 12, 2019, the movie has grossed a total of €6.5 million in Spain, making it the year’s highest-grossing Spanish film. The film grossed $36.6 million worldwide.
