Batman is an upcoming Hollywood superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. It is a reboot of the Batman movie franchise, produced by DC Films, 6th & Idaho Motion Picture Company, and Dylan Clark Productions, and will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Matt Reeves, who co-wrote the screenplay with Peter Craig, directs the picture. It stars Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell as Bruce Wayne / Batman. The film follows Batman as he uncovers corruption in Gotham City while chasing down the Riddler (Dano), a serial killer who preys on the city’s elite.
The Batman was supposed to be released in June 2021, however owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, production was pushed back to March to September 2020. On March 4, 2022, it will be released in the United States. For HBO Max, two sequels are in the works, as well as two spin-off television programs.
