Post-production delays, as well as the COVID-19 outbreak, hampered the theatrical release. Rajput’s death on 14 June 2020 added to the mix, resulting in a digital release on the Disney+ Hotstar streaming service on July 24.

In honor of Rajput, it was made available on the site without charge in India and a few other nations. The film garnered mostly positive reviews from critics, who appreciated the running duration, Rajput and Sanghi’s performances, the story, characterizations, soundtrack, coherence, and storyline, but criticized the emotional depth and directing.
