Zachary Knight Galifianakis, also known as Zach Galifianakis, is an American actor, comedian, singer, and writer who was born on October 1, 1969. He hosted his show Late World with Zach on VH1 and starred in a Comedy Central Presents special.

Galifianakis won the MTV Movie Award for Best Comedic Performance for his role as Alan Garner in the smash comedy The Hangover. In later movies with him in supporting parts, such as G-Force, Youth in Revolt, and Up in the Air, he was extensively advertised.

It follows Phil Wenneck, Stu Price, Alan Garner, and Doug Billings as they fly to Las Vegas for a bachelor party in honor of Doug’s imminent wedding. Phil, Stu, and Alan, on the other hand, wake up with Doug missing with no knowledge of the previous night’s events, and they must locate the groom before the wedding can take place.

The Hangover was a critical and commercial triumph when it was released on June 5, 2009. With worldwide revenue of almost $467 million, the movie became the tenth highest-grossing picture of 2009. The film was nominated for many awards, including the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.

The Hangover Part II was released on May 26, 2011, and The Hangover Part III, the third and final installment, was released on May 23, 2013. Both films were box office successes, but none was favorably regarded.
