Which is the Hollywood movie where women kept for artificial insemination?

Jennie Snyder Urman created ‘Jane the Virgin’, an American romantic comedy-drama and satirical telenovela. The series aired on The CW on October 13, 2014, and ended on July 31, 2019. It is a loose version of Perla Faras’s Venezuelan telenovela Juana la Virgen.

Gina Rodriguez played Jane Villanueva, a faithful 23-year-old Latina virgin who becomes pregnant after her physician inadvertently artificially inseminates her. It makes fun of Latin American telenovela clichés and devices.

Jane the Virgin was well-received by critics, who praised the film’s writing and Rodriguez’s performance. Jane the Virgin was nominated for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy at the 72nd Golden Globe Awards, and Gina Rodriguez won Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy. In 2014, the show won a Peabody Award and was named one of the top ten television shows of the year by the American Film Institute.

The series’ on-screen title card was changed beginning with the fourth episode of season three, with ‘The Virgin’ wiped out in favor of a frequently comic alternative relating to each episode. Jane is no longer a virgin, which reflected the storyline. The movie has received accolades from the American Film Institute and the George Foster Peabody Awards, as well as the People’s Choice Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Critics’ Choice Awards, Primetime Emmy Awards, Image Awards, and the Television Critics Association.
