Actor-director Kunal Kemmu celebrated the auspicious festival of Rakshabandhan with his sister, Karishma Kemmu. The actor shared glimpses of the celebration on his social media account. Taking to Instagram, Kunal posted a picture with his sister, where he is seen flaunting his rakhis, while Karishma holds a rakhi thali. He also shared an adorable throwback photo from their childhood, where he is sweetly hugging her and planting a kiss on her cheek as they pose for the camera.
Alongside the picture Kunal penned a heartfelt note in the caption which reads, “Happy Rakshabandhan to all ❤️
May the thread on our wrists be a symbol of restraint that each man must have on himself when he interacts with any woman or judges her based on her appearance or behavior. May it teach each man to love, respect, and treat women well. She doesn’t need to be our mother or sister for us to show her the same respect. While we promise our sisters to be their protectors, let’s also protect women from the inhuman thoughts and actions that some of us men have the potential to exhibit. I hope we value this thread on our wrists and let it keep the demons within tied up for good.”
