What disease was in Taare Zameen Par?

Aamir Khan produced and directed Taare Zameen Par, a 2007 Indian Hindi-language drama film. The film follows Ishaan, an 8-year-old dyslexic boy, through his life and fantasy. Despite his artistic abilities, his parents decide to send him to a boarding school due to his low academic performance. Amole Gupte, the film’s creative director, and writer came up with the concept with his wife Deepa Bhatia, who also worked as the film’s editor. Some of the school’s students appear in Mumbai and at Panchgani’s New Era High School.
In India, the film premiered in theatres on December 21, 2007, and UTV Home Entertainment released a DVD for Indian consumers in 2008.

Disney’s later launch of the foreign version DVD was the first time a global firm purchased distribution rights for an Indian film. Taare Zameen Par has garnered multiple honors in addition to worldwide acclaim and has been instrumental in promoting dyslexia awareness. Within the first three days, the film grossed $150 million (US$2.0 million) domestically.
