Dil Ka Rishta is a Hindi romance film directed by Naresh Malhotra and produced by Aditya Rai that was released in 2003. It was made and released by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Target Films and Tips Industries Limited. Nadeem-Shravan composed the music, and Sameer wrote the lyrics. The soundtrack to this film went on to be a huge hit.
Arjun Rampal and Aishwarya Rai feature in the lead roles, with Priyanshu Chatterjee, Isha Koppikar, Rakhee Gulzar, and Paresh Rawal rounding out the cast. Nadeem Shravan composed the music, while Sameer wrote the lyrics.
Wealthy Jai Mehta is a young man with a golden heart. He donates to several philanthropic organizations in India, and one day while visiting a deaf and dumb school, he falls in love with the instructor, Tia Sharma, professes his feelings for her, and is publicly humiliated when she reveals her fiancé, Raj.
Raj and Tia marry soon after and become the delighted parents of a baby boy named Anshu. Jai, who has been heartbroken, turns to alcohol, and one night, while under the influence of alcohol, his car collides with Raj and Tia’s car, killing Raj and gravely wounding Tia.
Tia is treated by a doctor and recovers, but she has no recollection of her tumultuous history. Jai makes it his mission to look after her, and she gradually falls in love with him and proposes marriage. But will this marriage take happen, or will Tia remember her history and seek vengeance on Jai for her husband’s murder and current state?
