Ewan Gordon McGregor, also known as Ewan McGregor, is a Scottish actor who has been in several films and musicals. He was born on March 31, 1971. In 1993, he made his debut as a lead in the British Channel 4 series Lipstick on Your Collar.
In the British television series Lipstick on Your Collar, he made his acting debut. He then appeared in Bill Forsyth’s Being Human and Danny Boyle’s thriller Shallow Grave a year later.
Dennis Potter wrote Lipstick on Your Collar, a British television serial. It aired on Channel 4 for the first time in February and March 1993. It stars Ewan McGregor in his first significant role and is based on Potter’s earlier television play Lay Down Your Arms (1970).
Lay Down Your Arms: Lipstick on Your Collar is a sequel to the preceding play Lipstick on Your Collar (1970). According to some critics, it is the concluding installment in Potter’s musical trilogy, which began with Pennies From Heaven (1978) and The Singing Detective (1979). This was Dennis Potter’s penultimate serial, and it was nominated for two BAFTA awards in 1994, in the categories of ‘Best Makeup’ and ‘Best Music.’
