Actor Mohnish Bahl remembered his mom Nutan today (February 21) on her 31st death anniversary. Nutan passed away due to breast cancer on February 21, 1991. To mark the day, her son Mohnish shared a vintage photo of her on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Mohnish Bahl dropped a black-and-white picture of his mother Nutan and wrote, “Feels like yesterday,” with a red heart emoji.


Several social media users took to the comments section and wrote, “Lovely,” while another wrote “Great actress of Golden Era.”
About Nutan
Nutan started working in Bollywood films in the 1950s. Her career spanned nearly four decades and appeared in more than 70 films. She was a part of movies like Sujata (1959), Seema (1955), Baarish (1957), Manzil (1960), Bandini (1963), Khandan (1965), Milan (1967), and Gauri (1968). She tied the knot at the peak of her career with Naval officer Rajneesh Bahl in 1959. After battling breast cancer for several years, Nutan died in February 1991. Nutan was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 1974.
