Known for genre-defying films like Piku, October, and Sardar Udham, Shoojit is now diving into a two-hero satirical project, set to go on floors in the second half of 2025.
According to Team Movified, the filmmaker has been in talks with Rajkummar for quite some time, and the duo has finally locked in on this yet-to-be-titled project. With Rajkummar giving a nod to the script, the production is currently in search of a credible second lead—someone with strong comic timing and collaborative spirit.
Shoojit’s vision for the film requires a balanced cast that can bring both humor and depth without creative interference, making the casting process crucial. Once the parallel lead is finalized, shooting dates will be confirmed. Meanwhile, Rajkummar is gearing up for the release of Bhool Chuk Maaf and is also immersed in his own production ventures.
