Following the massive success of Saiyaara, director Mohit Suri is set to collaborate once again with breakout stars Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda for a new untitled romantic film. The project will be backed by Yash Raj Films and is expected to blend heartfelt storytelling with soulful, memorable music.
Talking about the reunion, Mohit Suri shared that love stories have always been at the core of his filmmaking. He described love as an overwhelming and all-consuming emotion that he is naturally drawn to as a storyteller. He added that this new film will continue to explore those intense emotions in an honest and unapologetic way.
Expressing his excitement, Suri said returning to work with the Saiyaara team feels deeply special, as if the collaboration was destined. He called it a “coming back home” moment, but with a fresh creative drive. The filmmaker also mentioned that he now feels like a newcomer again—both excited and nervous about the story—and hopes his music will once again deeply connect with audiences, just as in his previous films.
