Hollywood stars Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway arrived in Japan on Monday, April 6, to promote their upcoming film, The Devil Wears Prada 2. The 20th Century Studios project reunites Streep and Hathaway on the big screen for the first time in 20 years. The actors are set to reprise their iconic roles as Miranda Priestly and Andy Sachs from The Devil Wears Prada.
Ahead of the film’s release, Streep and Hathaway were seen greeting fans in Tokyo. Both actresses brought their fashion A-game for the special evening, and we’ve fallen in love with them all over again. Streep wore a striking red ensemble, while Hathaway opted for a chic black-and-white off-shoulder dress. What made the event even more special was fans showing up dressed in iconic looks inspired by The Devil Wears Prada.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 reunites the original main cast with director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna. The Devil Wears Prada 2 is produced by Wendy Finerman and executive produced by Michael Bederman, Karen Rosenfelt, and Aline Brosh McKenna. 20th Century Studios will release the film in cinemas on May 1, 2026.
