Farhan Akhtar is all set to tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend Shibani Dandekar on February 19 in Khandala. Their pre-wedding festivities have begun in full swing on Thursday. Shibani’s girl gang has thrown a surprise Mehendi party which has already begun at Akhtar’s bungalow. Shibani’s BFF Rhea Chakraborty was also seen at the venue. The actress looked beautiful in a yellow saree. Shibani’s sister and VJ- model Anusha Dandekar was also spotted arriving at the venue.
Farhan and Shibani Dandekar will have a Marastrian wedding on Saturday in Khandala. The wedding will take place in traditional Marathi style. The Mehendi festivities is happening today and the sangeet will happen on Friday, it’s preparations are already on.
A close friend of the couple revealed, “Farhan and Shibani want to keep it as private as possible. They are not calling too many people. It will just be close friends and family. Shabana and Javed are very happy for Farhan and have given Shibani their blessings.”
As per a close friend of the couple, the Mehendi ceremony will be an elaborate affair. Shibani Dandekar’s friends Monica Dogra and Rhea Chakraborty are reportedly going to attend their friend’s pre-wedding functions and the wedding.
