Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar got hitched on Saturday in a private affair. We have no doubt that their wedding was a fairy tale. But who better to tell us than the guest who attended the wedding? Among the wedding guests were Hrithik Roshan and his family. Hrithik’s mom Pinkie Roshan took to Instagram recently to share a photo of herself. In the caption, she described Farhan and Shibani’s wedding ceremony as ‘surreal’. The couple walked down the aisle at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s Khandala farmhouse.
Sharing a selfie of herself in an orange and ivory suit, Pinkie described the wedding and wrote, “It was too special, total bliss to have witnessed a marriage ceremony that was surreal, simplicity was the key ingredient …….God bless @faroutakhtar @shibanidandekar. congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!”
Farhan and Shibani’s wedding took place with family members and only a few close friends. The couple exchanged vows, instead of a traditional nikah or a Marathi wedding ceremony. Their wedding guest list included Gaurav Kapoor, Monica Dogra, Ritesh Sidwani, Meiyang Chang, Samir Kochar, Hrithik Roshan, and Rhea Chakraborty.
The couple made their entry to the wedding venue to the song, ‘Sooraj Ki Baahon Mein’ from Farhan’s film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara! They even sang for each other. Reportedly, the newlyweds will be hosting a wedding reception later this month.
