Actor Rohit Basfore, known for his role in Family Man 3, was found dead near a waterfall in Assam’s Garbhanga forest on Sunday evening. Basfore had returned to Guwahati from Mumbai a few months ago.
According to his family, he left for an outing with friends around 12:30 pm but lost contact later in the day. Hours later, a friend informed them of an “accident.” Despite being rushed to the hospital, Rohit was declared dead.
His family suspects foul play, citing a recent parking dispute in which the actor was allegedly threatened.

They have named a gym owner, who had invited Rohit to the outing, among the suspects. A murder investigation is currently underway.
