Karthi Sivakumar made his acting debut 15 years ago today in Kollywood. He made his debut with Paruthiveeran. To mark the milestone, the actor penned a sweet note about his film journey. He wrote that he feels blessed to have started his journey in Kollywood with director Ameer’s Paruthiveeran.
As he completes 15 years in the industry, Karthi took to Twitter to share a sweet note with the caption, “A big thank you! 15 Golden Years since #Paruthiveeran!”
Karthi’s statement read, “I feel blessed to have started my acting career with that film. Every move of mine was designed and tutored by Ameer sir and all the credit goes to him. Of the many lessons learned, I still treasure the way he taught me to immerse myself and enjoy the work that I do. Thanks to Ameer sir, Gnanavel Anna, my dear fans and media for ushering me into this beautiful path!.”
Karthi was last seen in Sulthan which was released last year in theatres. He will be seen next in Ponniyin Selvan. He will essay the role of Vallavaraiyan Vandhiyathevan in Mani Ratnam’s historical fiction film. Besides this, Karthi also has director PS Mithran’s Sardar and Muthaiah’s Viruman.
