Suman Ranganathan is a model and actress from India. She has appeared in films in Kannada, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. She was born in the Karnataka town of Tumakuru. Bunty Walia, an Indian film producer, was her husband. And then the couple separated in 2007. On June 3, 2019, she married Sajan Chinnappa, a businessman from the Kodagu district of Karnataka. In the company of family and close friends, Suman Ranganathan and Sajan tied the marriage at the Bengaluru sub registrar’s office. Sajan is a Bengaluru resident who is originally from Kodagu.
She made her acting debut alongside Shankar Nag in the Kannada film C.B.I. Shankar (1989). Following the success of the film, she went on to star in a number of other films, including Bala Hombale (1989), Doctor Krishna (1989), Santha Shishunala Sharif (1990), and Nammoora Hammera (1990).

Pudhu Paattu, her Tamil debut, was released in 1990. Fareb (1996) was her first Bollywood film, and it was an Indian version of Illegal Entry. In Aa Ab Laut Chalen, she played an Indian-American socialite (1999) and also in Baghban (2003).
Suman Ranganath was also a member of the Mr. India World 2007 judging panel. She serves as a judge on Colors Kannada’s Kannada reality show Thakadimitha.
