He made his feature film acting debut the following year in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, which was the second and final time he was credited by his birth name, Nicolas Coppola; he later changed his name professionally to avoid nepotism claims due to his connection to the Coppola clan.
Michael Sarnoski’s directorial debut, Pig, is a 2021 American drama film written and directed by him. It stars Nicolas Cage, Alex Wolff, and Adam Arkin and tells the story of a truffle forager whose prized truffle-finding pig is kidnapped. Neon released it in theatres in the United States on July 16, 2021. Critics complimented the film’s direction and ideas, as well as Cage’s acting, and it garnered positive reviews.
Nic Cage and Alex Wolff joined the cast of the picture in September 2019, with Michael Sarnoski directing from a screenplay he authored. Principal photography began on September 23, 2019, and will last for 20 days in Portland, Oregon.
