Hanuman Ansh — the Neem Karoli Baba–inspired spiritual drama that crossed ₹250 crore worldwide without a star-led marketing blitz — is set for a full theatrical release in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on September 18, presented by Trivikram Srinivas and released by Fortune Four Cinemas.
Fortune Four Cinemas confirmed the date on social media earlier this month, framing the film as a divine tale now arriving for Telugu audiences. Sacnilk’s September 14 report underscores what makes the move unusual: a mainline Tollywood writer-director lending his name to back a Hindi-origin devotion film’s regional expansion, with major chains including Cinepolis and several regional partners in the mix. The Telugu cut keeps the subtitle Tales of Neeb Karoli Baba.
Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh opened in Hindi on August 7 and has lived almost entirely on word of mouth — still posting strong single-day numbers weeks into its run. Its overseas leg only began on September 11 and has already added well over ₹14 crore internationally, according to Sacnilk. The Hans India cinema desk notes the September 18 corridor looks relatively clear for Telugu screens, with Nani’s Paradise still a week away, giving the film a clean window to find its audience.
