A24 has confirmed You Can See Everything, the long-rumoured documentary about convicted Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, as the secret screening at the 2026 Telluride Film Festival. The film is directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim and is scheduled to reach cinemas in October.
According to the official logline reported by IndieWire, Holmes invites a sceptical film crew to document her life 34 days before she is due to report to prison. What begins as an intimate portrait develops into a three-year documentary project.
The film’s confirmation follows years of speculation about Fielder’s involvement with Holmes. Fielder is known for projects including Nathan for You, The Rehearsal and The Curse, while Oppenheim recently presented his narrative feature Primetime at the Venice Film Festival.
A first teaser released after the announcement shows Fielder questioning Holmes about authenticity while she cares for her newborn child. The documentary therefore arrives at the intersection of true crime, celebrity culture and the ethics of filming a public figure whose business empire collapsed after a criminal fraud conviction.
Holmes’s story has previously inspired the documentary The Inventor and the Hulu series The Dropout, but the new film’s unusually long production period and Fielder’s distinctive approach give it a separate identity.
