Cuba Mark Gooding Jr., sometimes known as Cuba Gooding Jr., is an American actor born on January 2, 1968. He went on to star in A Few Good Men (1992), The Tuskegee Airmen (1995), Outbreak (1995), and Jerry Maguire (1996), for which he earned an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Life in a Year is a romantic drama movie directed by Mitja Okorn and based on a script by Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews that will be released in 2020. Jaden Smith, Cara Delevingne, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Nia Long feature in the picture. Under their Overbrook Entertainment company, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith serve as executive producers. Sony Pictures released Life in a Year on November 27, 2020.
Daryn, who is being groomed by his father Xavier to get into Harvard, meets Isabelle while attempting to sneak into a rapper’s event and takes an immediate fancy to her. He courted her and eventually fell in love with her, but when he confessed his feelings, it was revealed that she was suffering from cancer and didn’t have much time left to live.
Daryn then devises a strategy to live a year in life. Isabelle sees his promise as a rapper and lends a hand in the creation of his first demo CD. They marry and make their love official. Isabelle dies a few days later, and Daryn reconciles with his father before graduating and moving to New York City to pursue a career in music.
