Trade figures carried by India Today on September 15 put the film at ₹279.80 crore worldwide on Day 39 — enough to overtake Mirzapur: The Movie and claim third place among Bollywood’s highest worldwide grossers of the year, behind only Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2.
The climb is the story. Hanuman Ansh opened to roughly ₹10 lakh and was reported to have been made on a budget near ₹2 crore. Thirty-nine days later it sits ahead of bigger, faster launches: Mirzapur: The Movie was at about ₹273.64 crore worldwide by Day 11, while Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla has been tracked around the mid-₹200-crore band on the same India Today ranking. That sustained pull — after a near-invisible opening — is what separates this run from typical mid-budget fade-outs.
The next round number in sight is ₹300 crore worldwide — roughly ₹20 crore more on current maths. Whether it gets there depends on how long screens keep feeding the film’s word-of-mouth audience, but the top-three ranking already locks Hanuman Ansh into 2026’s defining Hindi theatrical conversation.
