Ravi Teja’s Irumudi is headed to Netflix. The Mythri Movie Makers drama, still playing in its fourth theatrical week after crossing the ₹200 crore mark in India, will begin streaming on the platform on September 18 — with Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi versions joining the original Telugu cut.
Directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, Irumudi opened on August 11 and has become one of Telugu cinema’s clearest commercial stories of 2026. Made on a reported budget of around ₹45 crore, the film has collected nearly ₹208.18 crore gross in India in 24 days, according to industry estimates cited by India Today, becoming the fourth Indian film this year to join the ₹200 crore club after Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, The Raja Saab and Peddi.
The story stays close to a father-daughter bond. Ravi Teja plays Trinadh, an alcoholic who takes Ayyappa deeksha and stays away from alcohol for 40 days, while Baby Nakshatra plays his daughter Manemma. Priya Bhavani Shankar appears as Kaveri, with Sai Kumar as Guruswamy and Swasika in a key supporting role. Much of the film was shot in real locations around Sileru on the Andhra Pradesh–Odisha border, giving the emotional drama a grounded, small-town texture rather than a glossy studio sheen.
That theatrical heat is exactly why the Netflix date matters. Viewers who missed Irumudi in cinemas — or want it in another language — get a clear digital window while the film is still in theatres. For Ravi Teja, the move extends a rare run that already delivered his first ₹150 crore-plus grosser and then kept climbing past ₹200 crore.
